Psalms 23 Poem

Psalms 23

With the LORD as your shepherd
you have all that you need.
If you follow in His footsteps
wherever he may lead,
He will guide and guard and keep you
in his loving, watchful care
And when travelling in dark valleys,
your Shepherd will be there.
His goodness is unfailing,
kindness knows no end,
For the lord is a good shepherd
on Whom you can depend.
So when your heart is troubled,
you'll find quiet, peace and calm
When you open up your Bible
and just read this treasured Psalm.

CQCC Impressive NAPLAN Results

Earlier this week Central Queensland Christian College made news headlines as one of only four Queensland schools to have 100% of students at or above the national minimum standard in every one of the NAPLAN test categories. All of our Year 3, 5 and 7 students sat the test and Central Queensland Christian College would like to offer them a huge congratulations for their hardwork. Nearly 1400 Queensland schools participate in the test and CQCC is happy to recieve such an impressive result.

Chess Team Refuses to Give Up

Chess Team Refuses to Give Up

The last 2012 Regional Chess Competition was held a few weeks ago and CQCC Chess Teams started the day with high hopes of making the State Finals for the fourth year in a row. It was a very exciting day and teams watched the leader board change with every round. CQCC was in second place when the competition went into extra time but our commited Chess Teams didn’t give up and played their very best. Students nervously awaited the day’s results, hoping their last game was enough to take them to the 2012 State Finals.
