Dear Parents,

Welcome to Term 3! At our Assembly on Monday I thought everyone looked taller – I think they’ve all grown over the holidays. The school has grown in another way – we have four Korean students joining us for Term 3. We always enjoy making new friends and are glad to have another group visit.

SPORTS DAY WITH LIGHTHOUSE – Friday the 29th July 2011
We have been invited to join with Lighthouse Christian College in a sports day at the University on Friday the 29th of July, 2011. This is a great day for the entire school to participate in a range of athletics events, together with students from other schools and the home-schooling community. Parents are welcome to come and stay for the day. The program will commence at 9:30am and is scheduled to conclude at 2:00pm. Our staff will be on site from 8:45am for those who need to be dropped off earlier. Attached is a tuckshop form if you would like to use it.

BEACH SPORT FUN DAY – Friday the 2nd of September 2011
Before the invitation to Lighthouse’s Sports Day arrived, we had already started to plan a Beach Sport Fun Day of our own. This will be held on Friday the 2nd of September at Bell Park, Emu Park and will include a some “Sunday-School Picnic” type events together with races and other activities.
