To our delight and amazement, two young students have started giving regular donations to the building fund as an offering to the Lord. To me, this speaks volumes. It speaks of the place of the school as a Christian ministry and that it is something important to sow funds into.
People who put money into a building fund see the future. They not only see what the school has to offer students currently enrolled, they see what the school can offer many other children. They are not just looking at what can be built in the next twelve months, but what can be built over generations.
Inspired by the children’s commitment of generosity, another staff member has now started giving a regular amount to the building fund.
With the regular giving of many people, a great work can be built. Small amounts grow into large amounts. The shared sum becomes something significant.
This income is important for the school to develop new facilities, build new classrooms and establish a campus that can cater for more students. A strong building fund will provide financial stability and promise for the school allowing it to grow in different ways.
