Enrolment Procedures

Parents intending to enroll their children at the College should contact the office and supply a completed Enrolment Application for each child.
Enrolment Application Forms are available upon request.

A non-refundable enrolment fee of $175 per family is required at the time of application. Families enrolling more than one child at the same time need only pay one fee.

An application for enrolment does not automatically ensure a place in the College for your child. An interview will be arranged and parents will have the opportunity to clarify any issues they may wish to raise.

Parents should bring to the interview the following:

  • A pastoral reference (if you are unable to provide a Pastor’s Reference, see below)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Any previous Report Cards
  • Other scholastic records
  • Medical records that have a bearing on student’s learning

Question:
“I like CQCC and want to enroll my child, but don’t attend church, what can I do?”

Answer:
Because the Parent – Teacher – Student partnership is very important to us, we want to ensure that we’re all on the “same page” when providing tuition for your child. Education is a delegated authority from the parent, and we need to be able to represent you. Central to this partnership at CQCC is the shared understanding and place of Christ in every part of life.
CQCC is a great school because of our emphasis on relationship with God and relationship with each other. If we’re going to talk about God at school, we need to know that you not only agree, but believe it yourself.

Maybe you’ve never really thought through about the issues of life and your relationship with God. This is an opportunity to consider what you believe, not just for your own sake but for your children’s.

We are more than happy to put you in contact with a church leader to discuss the questions of faith. If you already have contact with a church, then go and see them. Consider your own walk with God and fellowship with other Christian believers. After taking these steps you might “find yourself in church”, and be in a position to provide such a reference.

In short, the steps are:

  1. Contact a church leader (we can help if you don’t know one)
  2. Examine your relationship with God
  3. Consider joining a Christian fellowship
  4. Ask for the Pastor’s reference

or apply for special consideration (the Principal has the right to consider special circumstances)
